Before we go

Sorry for not writing for a few days. Life has just gone crazy. I can assure you all though, we are defiantly leaving tomorrow morning !?

What I really want to say right now is thank you, to everybody that has helped us get to this point of the adventure. Some of you know who you are, some of you don’t. But we are grateful to you all.

As Andrea reminded me today, this is more than just a walk for both of us. We are both excited and apprehensive about everything that is going to confront us over the next few months. Our emotions are running high at the moment and we are looking forward to the calm of the road. So bring on tomorrow !!

I would also like to apologies for not introducing the White room earlier. Claire is looking after things on the website while we are on the move, and has volunteered to write a few post too !!

Oh yes, Bobbie is especially concerned about the smell of my feet.

My Feet.

This is a little test post that I’ve written from our new toy !!
If this works we will be able to write posts from anywhere and then update the travelogue via wi-fi, GPRS or internet cafe.

We have made a decision !!

Departure date will be 31st July or 1st August.

The current plan is to leave from the Church and then pop into the pub before cycling off to Dover on a tandem (yes, a tandem). Why not walk I hear you cry, well, very simple really, we couldn’t get a horse and cart. As soon as we cross the Channel and reach France it’s feet all the way ! More on this in later posts !

here she is -

sheep

There are varing degrees of panic going on in the Worledge/ Roberts camp at the moment. So much seems to be happening, time is disappearing rapidly and I haven’t got enough pictures of sheep yet.

So here is one for the moment, see the panic and fear in it’s eyes, it knows we have too much to organise in so short a time. However, when studied in more depth, I do feel there is an underlying sense of sympathy eminating from that smile.

Please feel free to give your interpretation of the woolly thoughs ;)

Hurrah !!

Today is our last day of attendence at Westland !! Well, attendance for me and work for Michele. I think I’ll save my feelings at this time for another post. Right now, I would like to pass on a little tune that an ex-(!?)collegue Gary D, thought would help us on our way, it made me smile :)

All finished !!

Does that ever really happen? Not in my case !!

I’ve been very frustrated today trying to get this bloody spell checker working in Wordpress admin. I might have another go tomorrow or I might just stuff it and leave my spelling abilities open to the copy editors amongst you.

I’m going to sort the pictures page next, any suggestions would be most appriciated.

I might even get to do a post about the walk !!
